Results of the Call T-AP 2021

The Trans-Atlantic Platform (T-AP) for the Social Sciences and Humanities, an unprecedented collaboration between humanities and social science research funders from South America, North America and Europe, launched the Call Recovery, Renewal and Resilience in a Post-Pandemic World in April 2021. The participation of the Croatian Science Foundation in this call made it possible for Croatian applicants to apply as part of international consortia. The Call closed on 12 July 2021 and saw 310 transnational project proposals submitted (24 proposals included teams from Croatia).

Following international peer review and Panel evaluation, research funding organizations that participated in the Call drafted the list of projects to be funded, depending on each RFO’s financial capability. The list of 19 awardees is available here. The Croatian Science Foundation will be funding one Croatian team within this Call – led by Dr Senada Selo Šabić, PhD, from the Institute for Development and International Relations within the Project ENDURE: Inequalities, Community Resilience and New Governance Modalities in a Post-Pandemic World.

These are the first jointly-funded projects in the world to investigate the medium-and long-term effects of the pandemic on all aspects of health, social, economic, political, and cultural life in unprecedented detail. The projects are worth nearly 14.4 million EUR in total and will be implemented in 12 countries across four continents.
