The Croatian Science Foundation, Ilica 24, Zagreb, PIN: 88776522763 (hereinafter: HRZZ) shall undertake any required technical and organizational measures in accordance with legislative provisions arising from the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Council of 27 April 2016. on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR).
Call-related procedures and data control
HRZZ collects and processes data subject’s personal information in accordance with national legislative provisions, GDPR provisions and HRZZ procedures on processing and protecting personal information, which also lists categories of data users.
HRZZ collects applicants’ personal information through the Electronic Application System (EPP). In case a project is selected for financing, HRZZ collects and processes personal information for the purpose of contracting.
Our server collects information automatically sent by your browser and automatically stores them in files called “server logs”. The information stored include: browser type and version, operating system used, site URL, host name of the connected computer, time of server request and IP address. These data are not connected to any other data sources.
If you wish to receive HRZZ’s newsletter and other notifications that we occasionally send via email, we will need your email address and additional information that will enable us to verify that you are the user of the email address provided and that you consent to being sent the Newsletter. No other data will be collected. We use these data solely for the purpose of sending the information requested and we do not transfer them to third parties.
Once you have applied to the newsletter service, you will be sent a confirmation email, inviting you to confirm your application. You may, at any point, withdraw your expressed consent for data and email storage for the purpose of receiving the newsletter, for instance via the automatic opt-out link provided in the newsletter.
Data subjects are entitled to request information on the personal information collected, stored and processed by HRZZ, they are entitled to correct, delete, limit, transfer and recall data and have the right to appeal. Data user who feels that HRZZ violated any of his right guaranteed by GDPR may submit a request for determining the violation of rights to the competent body, i.e. (Personal Data Protection Agency).
