Report on gender equality in Croatian research and innovation system published by CALIPER project

Project consortium of project CALIPER – Linking Research and Innovation for Gender Equality published an extensive public report on gender equality in the research and innovation system in various European countries. The CALIPER project is funded through the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Framework Programme with the aim of increasing the participation rate of women in STEM. The project consortium comprises seven research performing organizations and two research funding organizations. Croatia is represented in the consortium by the University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing.

Below we present part of the report that pertains to Croatia, while reports for other countries in the consortium can be accessed here. The report provides an overview of Croatian national policies, strategies and legislation regarding gender equality with a special focus on the science and higher education system, statistical data on gender balance in STEM as well as results of a focus group and survey conducted at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing last year.
