Project MUSE in European Commission's newsletter

Under its Science for Environment Policy news, the European Commission has released an overview of a recent article by team members of project PZS-2019-02-9479 “Effects of multiple stressors on freshwater biodiversity and ecosystem functioning” published in the journal Environmental Science & Technology. The paper deals with the transfer of pharmaceuticals and endocrine disruptors from aquatic to terrestrial ecosystems via the consumption of aquatic insects by terrestrial predators such as spiders, birds and bats.

Science for Environment Policy is a news and information service published by Directorate-General Environment, European Commission, designed to help the policymakers keep up-to-date with the latest environmental research findings needed to design, implement and regulate effective policies.
