The new Act on the Croatian Science Foundation, which the Croatian Parliament had adopted on 13 May 2022, enterred into force on 28 May 2022 (Official Gazette 57/2022). Upon entry of this Act into force, the term of the current Executive Director, Associate Professor Irena Martinović Klarić, PhD, is terminated. The Board of the Croatian Science Foundation adopted a Decision (Class: 120-02/22-02/10, File No.: 63-02/01-22-1)  appointing Dr Martinović Klarić to the position of Acting Director until the appointment of a new Director, who will be appointed following a public tender.
