Pursuant to the Multilateral Cooperation Agreement concluded between the Croatian Science Foundation and the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) and the Croatian Science Foundation and the Slovenian Research Agency (ARRS) respectively through the Weave initiative, the Croatian Science Foundation is launching the Call for co-funding the Croatian part of joint Slovenian-Croatian and Swiss-Croatian research projects.

The joint research project is implemented by a Slovenian and Croatian (Call IPS-2022-02) or Swiss and Croatian (Call IPCH-2022-04) research team. The joint project proposal is submitted to the calls launched by ARRS (submission deadline: 28 February 2022) and SNSF (submission deadline: 1 April 2022) respectively.

The Calls are implemented according to the Lead Agency principle, whereby the Lead Agency is in charge of the proposal evaluation process in line with its internal procedures. ARRS serves as the Lead Agency for the Call IPS-2022-02, while for the Call IPCH-2022-04 this role is played by SNSF. Eligibility criteria for Croatian scientists for these two calls are identical to the criteria for “Research Projects” calls.
