We evaluated 540 project proposals submitted to three calls for proposals launched in 2019. Of this number, 167 projects were approved for funding. The “Young Researchers’ Career Development Project” saw a new generation of doctoral students recruited in 2020, whereas 66 new young scientists from previous generations obtained their doctoral degree.
