Due to a deterioration of epidemiological situation with COVID-19 in Croatia, the President of the Croatian Science Foundation’s Board issued a decision on 26 October postponing the ceremony marking the Croatian Science’s Foundation 20th anniversary originally scheduled for 29 October. The new date of the ceremony will be made public once the epidemiological situation improves. We would hereby like to apologize to all guests who RSVP’d to the invite.

The official ceremony celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Croatian Science Foundation will take place on Friday, 29 October at 11:00 at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb. The ceremony shall take place under the sponsorship of the Croatian Government. The speakers, apart from the host, President of the HRZZ Board Professor Nikola Ružinski, shall include Professor Zvonko Kusić, F.C.A., special emissary of the Croatian Government, President of Science Europe Professor March Schiltz, President-Elect of the European Research Council Professor Maria Leptin as well as directors of research funding organizations from Switzerland and Slovenia – Professor Angelika Kalt and Professor Robert Repnik. The ceremony will also feature a panel discussion “Impact of HRZZ programmes and projects – HRZZ as the driver of Croatian society and economy” featuring successful Croatian scientists.
