The Croatian Science Foundation and the Association of Croatian-American Professionals (ACAP) are resuming the Career Path Seminar series for young scientists, which features excellent Croatian scientists in Croatia and abroad, who, by presenting their career stories, want to inspire young researchers in Croatia and help them find their own path that suits them best.

We would hereby like to announce the seventh Career Path Seminar, which will be held on Tuesday, 28 September at 17.00 CEST via Zoom. The topic of this webinar will be the transfer of technical skills from academia to start-up companies.

Language of the seminar will be Croatian.

• Dr Vlatka Petrović, Ph.D. – Acting Head, Centre for Research, Development and Technology Transfer, University of Zagreb
• Professor Mile Šikić, Ph.D. – Group Leader at A*STAR Genome Institute of Singapore; Professor at Faculty of Electrical Engineer and Computing at University of Zagreb, Co-founder and Partner at Oraclum Ltd.
• Dr Dubravko Kičić, Ph.D. – Research Fellow at Aalto University School of Science and Technology, Finland; previously (2015-2020) CEO and President of the Board, BioCentre- Incubation Center for Biosciences, Zagreb
