Results of the Call "Research Projects – Slovenian-Croatian Bilateral Projects"

Pursuant to the Cooperation Agreement between the Slovenian Research Agency (ARRS) and the Croatian Science Foundation, in December 2019 the Foundation published a call for financing the Croatian part of Slovenian-Croatian bilateral research projects (IPS-2020-01).

The joint research project should include a Slovenian and a Croatian research group, headed by the Slovenian Principal Investigator. The Slovenian PI was tasked with submitting the joint project proposal to the ARRS Call, whose deadline was 29 January 2020.

A total of 966 proposals were submitted to the ARRS Call, 940 of which were referred to the evaluation procedure. Of this number, 40 project proposals were bilateral Slovenian-Croatian projects.

The Board of the Croatian Science Foundation, at its 178th session, held on 25 September 2020, on the basis of the evaluation conducted by ARRS, approved co-financing for eight Slovenian-Croatian joint research projects. The list of the approved projects is given below:
