Dr Ivica Vilibić Lead Guest Editor of special issue of Natural Hazards journal

A special issue on the global science of meteotsunamis has just been published in the international journal Natural Hazards, in which Lead Guest Editor is Dr Ivica Vilibić, PhD, scientific advisor at the Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries and Principal Investigator of the Croatian Science Foundation project IP-2016-06-1955 „The Adriatic decadal and interannual oscillations: observations, modelling and consequences – ADIOS

This special issue features 30 research papers on different aspects of meteotsunamis, from their observations and measurements, through reproduction of processes in the atmosphere and ocean by numerical models, climatology, impact on the coast and infrastructure, till their real-time detection and forecast.
