We are happy to announce the launch of three new calls:
- Research Projects, IP-2025-02
- Installation Research Projects, UIP-2025-02
- Young Researchers’ Career Development Project – Training New Doctoral Students, DOK-2025-02
The Applicants to all three calls are legal entities, i.e. research institutions. All three calls are open for proposals in all scientific disciplines.
Calls in brief:
IP-2025-02:
Principal Investigator: an active researcher with internationally recognized achievements and a history of successful mentoring of young researchers.
Project funding duration: 3 years
Funding per project: 60,000 EUR minimum, 200,000 EUR maximum
The Call is also open for submission of bilateral and multilateral project proposals in collaboration with Slovenian, Swiss and/or Czech research teams through the Weave initiative.
UIP-2025-02:
Principal Investigator: early-career researcher that obtained their doctoral degree at least 2 and at most 10 years prior to the submission deadline, with an excellent track record and showing potential for leading a research team and developing new research topics and/or methodologies,
Project funding duration: 5 years
Funding per project: 125,000 EUR minimum, 300,000.00 EUR maximum
DOK-2025-02:
Candidate for mentor: researcher who obtained their doctoral degree at least 2 years before the submission deadline, employed at an eligible organization, PI or team member of a competitive research project (funded through HRZZ, Horizon or other competitive sources). The Project should be ongoing for at least 18 months after the submission deadline.
Funding period: 5 years in the case of scientific institutes, 6 years in the case of higher education institutions
Eligible costs: total salary cost of research assistants.
Submission deadline for all three calls is 24 February 2025 at 13.00 CEST.
Proposals are to be submitted through the EPP system only, which will become available in early February. Information about the opening of the EPP system will be published on HRZZ’s website, while all new users may already register in the EPP system.
